RCZ "Arlen Ness"
It was at the Motor Bike Expo held in January 2013 in Verona that Peugeot unveiled a limited series of the RCZ coupe. This takes the name RCZ “Arlen Ness”, a major US specialist since the end of the 1940s in customizing Harleys, but also a manufacturer of choppers and Hot Rods.
The RCZ coupe has been revised and modified in collaboration with Arlen Ness. Two-tone and two-material livery Matte Orange/Matte Black leather with central strip also in Matte Black leather for the vehicle presented. This definition is associated with 19-inch matte black aluminum rims (Technical model), red brake calipers, Perla Black mirror caps and matte black roof arches. Of course we find the Arlen Ness logo at the bottom of the rear fenders to signify the Peugeot coupe.
Mechanically, it is a surprise since this RCZ Arlen Ness is not developed on the basis of the 200 hp version but on the 155 hp version which sees its ECU reprogrammed to reach the power of… 200 hp. So that the 1.6 L THP breathes better and sings well, a Termignoni sports exhaust line is installed in place of the original one. Arlen Ness and Peugeot also focused on the car's road behavior, notably with adjustable Ohlins shock absorbers, a new Sport suspension, large ventilated Brembo brakes (365 mm x 29 mm) gripped by 4-piston calipers. In the passenger compartment, few changes except the presence of black leather and Alcantara upholstery with checkerboard stitching. A few small touches of orange dot the interior, such as the door sills, the carpets or the leather/Alcantara steering wheel with orange stitching.

RCZ R "Bimota" PB104
Equipped with 270 hp as standard, the Peugeot RCZ R reaches the 300 hp milestone via the special edition developed by the Bimota motorcycle brand. Peugeot has teamed up with Italian motorcycle manufacturer Bimota to create a special edition of the RCZ R, called PB104 in reference to the initials of the two entities. As standard, the RCZ R develops 270 horsepower for a 0 to 100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds. The model developed by Peugeot and Bimota claims no less than 304 horsepower thanks to a reprogramming of the ECU of the 1.6 THP and the introduction of a new exhaust. Optimized braking and reworked suspensions also equip the “beast”.
Unveiled at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, the RCZ R PB104 catches the eye with its body color split between white and red with the exception of the roof and mirrors which remain black. Inside the cabin, we note the massive presence of Alcantara, on the upholstery and the dashboard as well as the arrival of a TomTom navigation system and two GoPro cameras.
